Official Sega Dreamcast Magazine Disc Volume 11 February 2001 is a disc of demos and video segments for use in the Sega Dreamcast video game console.
This is a GD-ROM disc-- the 'GD' stands for gigadisc and requires special hardware to read. The purpose of this Archive entry is to make the data (files and audio tracks) more accessible for study.
A GD-ROM had a small area at the start of the disc which was readable by a standard CD-ROM drive. This contained a data track that was normally pretty empty but could also contain special bonus material. After the data track was an audio track that was typically a voice clip advising the user to play the disc in a Dreamcast console. The gigadisc area contains either 1 or 2 data areas and might have a number of audio tracks.
The archive "cdrom-files.zip" contains the files from the CD-ROM data area. The archive "gdrom-files.zip" contains the files from the GD-ROM data area. The assorted track## files are the audio tracks from the disc.
